Ally has been riding since she was nine years old. Coming up the levels in Pony Club
and eventing, she was selected at a young age to represent the United States at the FEI North American Youth Championships. Continuing her riding career, she has worked with countless trainers including, but not limited to, Lynn Symansky, Sharon White, Page Cade, Allison Spivey, Kama Godek, and Jimmy Wofford. Ally has taken what she has learned from these trainers over the years and used it to take multiple horses through the levels of eventing and show jumping. Ally has competed through the Intermediate level and FEI 2* level of eventing as well as the 1.25m level in show jumping. She also has experience in grooming for multiple riders at the top FEI level of eventing, show jumping, and dressage as well as working at top breeding farms.
In addition to Ally's well-rounded record and experience, she strives to bring young horses along slowly and correctly. She has experience with off-the-track Thoroughbreds (OTTB), Warmbloods, ponies, stallions, un-started, young, and difficult horses. Focusing on proper horsemanship and trust for both rescue and performance horses, they all grow in confidence here at Colby's Crew Rescue as well as Evermore Equestrian.
Ally currently lives in Charlottesville, Virginia. She graduated from George Mason University in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. She is now a full-time Nursing student and hopes to specialize in Mental Health once she receives her degree.
